Recently a friend’s DVD player broke down. It was a sleek and expensive Samsung model and he was a little concerned on whether he should trash it or have it fixed. It is rather costly to do the latter when comparing it to buying a new player of a lesser known brand.
What would you do in such a situation? For me, I would prefer to trash it and go for a brand new player even if it’s a brand that’s totally unknown, simply because these days the players are so inexpensive and there’s really no guarantee that a branded and expensive player will not let you down. I’ve known friends who own some real cheap players that has never once gone down on them so I’m quite impressed and for this option.
What about you?
