With the recent competition between Air Asia and MAS to offer cheap flights to all sorts of holiday destinations, do you know which is the better deal? Is it Air Asia or MAS?
If you want an apple to apple comparison, I suggest that you do a thorough calculation of all the add-in charges that are applicable at Air Asia. If I’m not mistaken, you might be charged for additional baggage of certain weightage, to be able to choose your seats, to have priority check-in service and even meals on board.
So if you need all the above mentioned services, do find out what are the surcharges for them so that you have a true cost of flying with Air Asia. Only then will you be able to have a fair comparison against the fares offered by MAS.
Seems like a lot of work, isn’t it? Well, if it makes your holiday more affordable and therefore fun (because you now have that additional savings to shop instead!), it’s well worth the time and effort!
