Have you ever had any baby shower invitations? It’s not exactly popular in our part of the world to have such a party but it is increasingly more heard of since we are adopting more of the western culture here for fun.
Well a friend is having a baby and is thinking of throwing a baby shower. I think it’s a nice way to celebrate the pregnancy and to welcome the baby too. It’s fun for the pregnant mommy too I suppose.
But for the guests, any ideas what you’re gonna get for the shower? Well the most common would be to get a baby set gift that includes some clothes, a little snuggly toy or two and some may even go for bigger gifts like a stroller or a car seat.
What you can think of is also gifts for the mommy-to-be. You can get her some health supplements which will help her get back into shape, get her some pretty clothes, maybe, and books are always great too. Get those recommended parenting books if they are new parents.
What other great baby shower gifts can you think of? I’m personally going to get the new parents a highly recommended book that they can already begin reading before baby is due.
