Lately, with some promotion from budget airlines being so readily available, I find myself being tempted to just book a flight and go for a long holiday. It’s season to celebrate anyway and I sure have some good reasons to celebrate life!
Fares are cheap, Outer Banks vacation homes are also affordable now, what else could be stopping me? Well maybe the thinking that I should be conserving money right now rather than spending them freely.
The human want is a bit more difficult to stop when the urge is strong. Maybe I can go on a less expensive holiday, to somewhere near home. That should make everyone happy. So I shall still browse those cheap fares and look out for great hotel deals. I shall think about Outer Banks again next time…
What about you? It’s year end and it’s bonus time for many…if you’re taking advantage of those cheap deals, great for you. If you are half hearted like me, and don’t want to spend a lot of money on just 1 holiday now, do what I do. Go for a short one, one where you don’t necessarily have to spend a lot. Keep the big holidays for the right time when you feel ready for it 
By then, you can go all out and enjoy to the fullest!
