Do small but meaningful things to relax and be happy

In times of stress and panic over the uncertainties going on around us, people tend to want quick solutions to their problems. Along the way in finding and striving to achieve their goals, we often forget to breathe, relax and be happy. We keep pushing back on enjoying the journey of life, thinking we need to do this now and then only we’d be able to enjoy later.

But what’s the harm to enjoy life in between while chasing that dream or even to solve a problem? It’s key to be happy as part of the way to stay healthy too. You don’t need to go all out and do some major thing to be happy like going on some Myrtle beach golf trip or buy that brand new and sleek car.

You can just spend more time with your loved ones, do more of the things that you’ve always enjoyed doing, eat some sweets (desserts) because studies show that sweet things make you feel better, burn some aromatherapy oil for relaxation, read a comic, watch your favourite movie again and again, etc.

All these seem very small and trivial but if they make you happy, then it’s worth spending some time indulging in them. Who says being happy and having a relaxed time is expensive?
